This one-day training focuses on how to effectively apply EMDR therapy within the complexity of the perinatal period, with a focused component on birth trauma. It will cover key pathways of trauma exposure and reactivation across reproductive and early parenting experiences, challenge common myths, and review the current evidence base. With a strong clinical focus, the workshop will provide practical adaptations for perinatal EMDR, including case conceptualisation and target selection, supported by case examples and discussion.
